Tiffy Moore needs a cheap flat, and fast. Leon Twomey works nights and needs cash. Jessica Brown Findlay (Downton Abbey) and Anthony Welsh (Hanna, Fleabag) have been announced as the leads of THE FLATSHARE, based on Beth O'Leary's 2018 novel and produced by 42 Productions. Beth O'Leary is a Sunday Times bestselling author whose books have been translated into over 30 languages.
Tiffany and Leon share a one room flat as one works days and the other, nights. They begin to leave notes for one another, and the pair find themselves drawn closer together...

We are so thrilled that the most anticipated debut of 2019 is published in hardback today!
The Flatshare by Beth O'Leary was the biggest title at Frankfurt Book Fair in 2017. It has now sold in 31 languages and has a TV series in the works.
It's the BBC Radio 2 Book Club Pick this week and Waterstone Piccadilly have built a display of the flat that the lead characters Tiffy and Leon share. It will be available to view between 18th - 25th April.

Beth O’Leary’s debut title, The Flatshare, has scored an impressive amount of translation rights deals in recent months after being a smash-hit at Frankfurt Book Fair.
As well as auctions and pre-empts, she has broken Agency records in Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Korea, Romania, Slovakia, Spain and Sweden.
The Flatshare will be published in the UK by Quercus and US by Flatiron Books in 2019.
