Blue Moon
Jack Reacher is back in a brand new white-knuckle read from Lee Child.
It's a random universe, but once in a blue moon things turn out just right.
In a nameless city, two rival criminal gangs are competing for control. But they hadn’t counted on Jack Reacher arriving on their patch.
Reacher is trained to notice things.
He’s on a Greyhound bus, watching an elderly man sleeping in his seat, with a fat envelope of cash hanging out of his pocket. Another passenger is watching too ... hoping to get rich quick.
As the mugger makes his move, Reacher steps in.
The old man is grateful, yet he turns down Reacher’s offer to help him home. He’s vulnerable, scared, and clearly in big, big trouble.
What hold could the gangs have on the old guy? Will Reacher be in time to stop bad things happening?
The odds are better with Reacher involved. That's for damn sure.

Past Tense
Jack Reacher plans to follow the autumn sun on an epic road trip across America, from Maine to California. He doesn’t get far. On a country road deep in the New England woods, he sees a sign to a place he has never been - the town where his father was born. He thinks, what’s one extra day? He takes the detour.
At the very same moment, close by, a car breaks down. Two young Canadians are trying to get to New York City to sell a treasure. They're stranded at a lonely motel in the middle of nowhere. It’s a strange place … but it’s all there is.
The next morning in the city clerk's office, Reacher asks about the old family home. He’s told no one named Reacher ever lived in that town. He knows his father never went back. Now he wonders, was he ever there in the first place?
So begins another nail-biting, adrenaline-fuelled adventure for Reacher. The present can be tense, but the past can be worse. That’s for damn sure.

The Midnight Line
Jack Reacher takes an aimless stroll past a pawn shop in a small Midwestern town. In the window he sees a West Point class ring from 2005. It’s tiny. It’s a woman cadet’s graduation present to herself. Why would she give it up? Reacher’s a West Pointer too, and he knows what she went through to get it.
Reacher tracks the ring back to its owner, step by step, down a criminal trail leading west. Like Big Foot come out of the forest, he arrives in the deserted wilds of Wyoming. All he wants is to find the woman. If she’s OK, he’ll walk away. If she’s not … he’ll stop at nothing.
He’s still shaken by the recent horrors of Make Me, and now The Midnight Line sees him set on a raw and elemental quest for simple justice. Best advice: don’t get in his way.

No Middle Name: Jack Reacher Short Story Collection
Jack ‘No Middle Name’ Reacher, lone wolf, knight errant, ex-military cop, lover of women, scourge of the wicked and righter of wrongs, is the most iconic hero for our age. This is the first time all Lee Child’s shorter fiction featuring Jack Reacher has been collected into one volume.
A brand-new novella, TOO MUCH TIME, is included, as are those previously only published in e-book form: SECOND SON, JAMES PENNEY’S NEW IDENTITY, GUY WALKS INTO A BAR, DEEP DOWN, HIGH HEAT, NOT A DRILL and SMALL WARS. Added to these is every other Reacher short story that Child has written: EVERYONE TALKS, MAYBE THEY HAVE A TRADITION, NO ROOM AT THE MOTEL and THE PICTURE OF A LONELY DINER.
Read together, these twelve stories shed new light on Reacher’s past, illuminating how he grew up and developed into the wandering avenger who has captured the imagination of millions around the world.

Night School
It’s 1996, and Reacher is still in the army. In the morning they give him a medal, and in the afternoon they send him back to school. That night he’s off the grid. Out of sight, out of mind.
Two other men are in the classroom—an FBI agent and a CIA analyst. Each is a first-rate operator, each is fresh off a big win, and each is wondering what the hell they are doing there.
Then they find out: A Jihadist sleeper cell in Hamburg, Germany, has received an unexpected visitor—a Saudi courier, seeking safe haven while waiting to rendezvous with persons unknown. A CIA asset, undercover inside the cell, has overheard the courier whisper a chilling message: “The American wants a hundred million dollars.”
For what? And who from? Reacher and his two new friends are told to find the American. Reacher recruits the best soldier he has ever worked with: Sergeant Frances Neagley. Their mission heats up in more ways than one, while always keeping their eyes on the prize: If they don’t get their man, the world will suffer an epic act of terrorism.
From Langley to Hamburg, Jalalabad to Kiev, Night School moves like a bullet through a treacherous landscape of double crosses, faked identities, and new and terrible enemies, as Reacher maneuvers inside the game and outside the law.

He expects to find a lonely tombstone in a sea of nearly-ripe wheat but instead there is a woman waiting for a missing private investigator, a cryptic note about two hundred deaths, and a small town full of silent, watchful people.
Reacher’s one-day stopover turns into an open-ended stay…

Never Go Back
After an epic and interrupted journey all the way from the snows of South Dakota, Jack Reacher has finally made it to Virginia. His destination: a sturdy stone building a short bus ride from Washington D.C., the headquarters of his old unit, the 110th MP. It was the closest thing to a home he ever had.
Why? He wants to meet the new commanding officer, Major Susan Turner. He liked her voice on the phone. But the officer sitting behind Reacher's old desk isn't a woman. Why is Susan Turner not there?
What Reacher doesn't expect is what comes next. He himself is in big trouble, accused of a sixteen-year-old homicide. And he certainly doesn't expect to hear these words: 'You're back in the army, Major. And your ass is mine.'
Will he be sorry he went back? Or - will someone else?

A Wanted Man
When you're as big and rough as Jack Reacher - and you have a badly-set, freshly-busted nose, patched with silver duct tape - it isn't easy to hitch a ride.
But Reacher has some unfinished business in Virginia, so he doesn't quit. And at last, he's picked up by three strangers - two men and a woman. But within minutes it becomes clear they're all lying about everything - and then they run into a police roadblock on the highway.
There has been an incident, and the cops are looking for the bad guys ... Will they get through because the three are innocent?Or because the three are now four? Is Reacher just a decoy?
With his signature Swiss-watch plotting and heart-thumping suspense, A Wanted Man shows Lee Child at his sublimely skilful best.

You do not mess with the Special Investigators! The events of 9/11 changed Jack Reacher's drifter life in a practical way. In addition to his folding toothbrush, he now needs to carry photo ID to get around. Yet he is still as close to untraceable as a human being in America can get.
So when a member of his old Army unit manages to get a message to him, he knows it has to be deadly serious. The Special Investigators always watched each other's backs. Now Reacher must put the old unit back together. Someone has killed one of them, and he can't let that go.

Persuader
‘Persuader is ballsy, dynamic and not for the faint-hearted.’ - Daily Mirror
Undercover – by far the loneliest and most vulnerable way to work. But Jack Reacher volunteers for the mission without a moment’s hesitation. Because this time it’s personal.
Eleven days of planning produce a stunning eight second sting that carries him straight to the heart of enemy territory on Maine’s rugged Atlantic coast. As soon as he gets there, he realises that nothing is what it seems. What exactly is filtering into the country through Portland’s docks? Who will help and who will betray?
The clock starts ticking…
Two days there would be dangerous. Three would be lethal. Four would be suicidal.
But Reacher’s still there after five…

Without Fail
*** A UK SUNDAY TIMES NUMBER 2 BESTSELLER ***
How does the United States Secret Service protect the President and Vice President? And how can it know it’s doing the very best job it can? One newly promoted female team leader has a breakthrough idea:she will hire an outsider to act the part of an assassin and probe the weak points of her complex operation. An old boyfriend’s brother seems like an obvious candidate. She knows him only by reputation – and that reputation is fearsome. His name is Jack Reacher.
He takes the job, but only because he senses there is more to her request than a simple desire for perfection. He senses real danger in the background and he won’t leave his brother’s friend vulnerable. He finds serious weaknesses everywhere – and then is told of a macabre series of letters addressed to the Vice President-elect. The first reads: ‘You are going to die&rsquo.
Reacher has no doubt it will prove to be a true prediction – unless he can take a makeshift team through a thicket of bizarre and terrified witnesses in a desperate race against time.

Die Trying
*** WINNER OF THE WHSMITH THUMPING GOOD
READ AWARD ***
A Chicago Street in bright sunshine. Jack Reacher, strolling nowhere, meets an attractive young woman, limping, struggling with her crutches. Naturally he stops to offer her a steadying arm, and they turn together – to face twin handguns held level and motionless and aimed straight at their stomachs.
Chained to the woman, locked in a dark, stifling van racing 2,000 miles across America. Reacher needs to know who he’s dealing with. The kidnappers are saying nothing and his companion claims to be Holly Johnson, FBI Agent. She’s fierce enough and tough enough, but he knows there must be more to her than that. And at their remote, hostile destination, they will need to act as a team and trust each other, pitting raw courage and cunning against insane violence and seemingly hopeless odds, with their own lives and hundreds of other at stake.
