Writing as Chris Ewan, he is also the author of several critically acclaimed and bestselling thrillers, including SAFE HOUSE, which was shortlisted for the Theakstons Old Peculier Crime Novel of the Year Award. His popular GOOD THIEF’S GUIDE TO … series of mysteries about globetrotting crime writer and thief-for-hire Charlie Howard are published in thirteen countries and are currently in development for TV.
Chris was born in Taunton in 1976 and graduated from the University of Nottingham with a degree in American Studies with a minor in Canadian Literature, then later moved to the Isle of Man where he worked as a film and entertainment lawyer. In recent years, Chris has moved back to Somerset with his wife and two children, where he writes full time.
