Beth Reekles, from South Wales, is an avid writer, reader, and drinker of tea. She started her writing career when she was just fifteen, penning YA novel The Kissing Booth and uploading it onto story-sharing platform Wattpad. It quickly accumulated over 19 million reads and was eventually picked up by Random House. Since then, Beth has written three more Kissing Booth books and three other YA novels and had her story turned into a smash-hit Neflix film starring Joey King and Jacob Elordi.
Beth has always written the books she wanted to read, and is now writing adult fiction alongside her YA titles (and her rather less glamourous 9-5 job in IT). Her first women’s fiction title, It Won’t Be Christmas Without You, was published in the UK by One Chapter More in 2019.
It Won't Be Christmas Without You
Eloise, a self-confessed Christmas obsessive, can’t wait for the big day. Devoted to her Michael Bublé playlist, she’s organising the school nativity play and even her gorgeous Grinch of a neighbour, James, can’t get her down.
Her workaholic twin sister, Cara, on the other hand, plans to work over the holiday – and figure out what secrets her seemingly-perfect boyfriend George might be keeping from her.
The sisters used to be close but since Cara moved to London, everything’s been different. Only, Eloise isn’t giving up just yet, and with a white Christmas on the cards, Cara can’t fail to be moved by the magic of the season … can she?
