ANNIE

This novel tells the story of Annie and her son Georgie. Poverty stricken the young mother is forced to leave Leicester and seek refuge with unknown relatives. Hardwork and cheerfulness earn Annie and Georgie the respect of their new family despite the ruthless Kate. But Annie knows that she must return to Leicester to confront her memories and to start a new life for her and her son.
