Q) How did you get started in your writing?

A) After winning £25.00 for a letter in Woman's Own about the contents of my fridge.

Q) Last book you bought?

A) The Red Tent.

Q) Heroes?

A) I like them dark and sexy with real jobs, like builders, wagon masters, soldiers.

Q) Tell us about your latest book?

A) Secrets is a three generation story set during the 30's and war years. Excentric granny, mad mother and the daughter who sorts them all out

Q) And what's in the pipeline?

A) A Lesser Evil.  A darkish tale of a young couple who move into a squalid street London and find their neighbours are up to no good. Sexy hero Dan!

Q) Where do you get your ideas from?

A) A free phone number in Dublin.

Q) How do you go about doing research for your book?

A) I lie on a sunlounger with a pile of books on a subject that interests me. Then when I know how little I know about the subject, I go to the place, wander about, talk to people who know about it, and then back to the sunlounger to digest it all..

Q) Why did you approach the Darley Anderson Agency?

A) I liked his name.

Q) What advice do you have for people hoping to find their first publisher?

A) Don't lose the dream.

Q) What do I like most about being a writer?

A)
That I can work in my nightie without leaving the house.
