WRITERS MEAN BUSINESS Nadia Finer, 31, is the co-founder of More To Life Than Shoes and mum to Jacob, nearly 2. She lives with Jacob and her husband Robin, an economist, in St Albans.
After a brief and disastrous stint as a trainee accountant, Nadia worked in marketing, product development and innovation for a few years, hopping from job to job, never quite finding what she was looking for. Then, one night down the pub, Nadia and her friend Emily realised they knew lots of women who were looking to change career, start a business or doing something radical, and yet, they weren't doing anything about it. More to Life Than Shoes was born.
Running a business, writing a book and looking after a toddler means that Nadia is a bit all over the place; the laundry mountain is out of control and even the best concealer in the world can't hide the dark shadows under her eyes, but she wouldn't change it for the world.
