WRITERS MEAN BUSINESS 
Kira Cochrane is a twenty four year old journalist working on The Sunday Times Review section.
Strictly non-autobiographical, The Naked Season does however draw on her experiences studying in the US. As part of an American Literature degree at Sussex University, Kira spent a year in a small agricultural Californian town. She then spent another year at Brighton studying journalism where she won the Marie Claire Award for Best New Writer.
