WRITERS MEAN BUSINESS 
J.J. Salem is a USA TODAY bestselling author who has published 21 books under pen names in a wide array of genres, including suspense, romance, chick-lit, teen fiction, and celebrity biography.
At 13, he worked odd jobs to splurge on the hardcover edition of Jackie Collins' Hollywood Lives. At 15, his first attempt at something Jackie-ish, a short story called Tempt Me, was banned from a high school creative writing contest. In college, he studied women's blockbuster fiction and Jackqlune Susann's Valley of the Dolls as the subject of his master's thesis in American Studies.
He currently resides in the southeastern United States, where he is at work on his third bonkbuster novel to follow up Tan Lines and The Strip.
