WRITERS MEAN BUSINESS 
Jane hit the best-seller lists with her first novel, Bridesmaids, a Heatseeker number one that was short-listed for the Melissa Nathan Award for Comedy Romance. She followed that with The Nearly Weds, which was honoured by the Romantic Novelists Association on its 50th anniversary as Romantic Comedy of the Year 2010. Her third book, My Single Friend, was published by Pocket Books this spring.
Before she became an author, Jane was a newspaper journalist for many years, working on titles including the Liverpool Echo – where she started as a graduate trainee – and the Daily Mail. Until 2007 she was the Editor of the Liverpool Daily Post, a job she held for over four years.
After living in rural Lancashire for over six years, she recently returned to the city of her birth, Liverpool, where she lives with her two young sons, Otis and Lucas.
